Nikki Hastad

Assistant Camp Director

Nikki spent her very first summer at Camp Summit as a counselor in 2006 and worked four consecutive summer seasons.  After graduating from The University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences in Special Education, she received teaching certificates in EC-4 Generalist and all-level Special Education through the State of Texas.  She taught the Life Skills Transition class at Grapevine ISD for one year.   Currently, Nikki is working towards her master’s degree of Special Education in Autism Studies at The University of North Texas.  Her favorite part about camp is that you are always surrounded by people who care about you for who you are!
