Respite Days

Respite day is a time for parents and/or caregivers to drop off their campers for a day of outdoor/indoor activities, arts & crafts projects and just plain 'ol fun.Respite day is a time for parents and/or caregivers to drop off their campers for a day of outdoor/indoor activities, arts & crafts projects and just plain 'ol fun. Camp Summit offers two respite days a year, one typically around Valentine's Day and one the first weekend of December. Campers may arrive anytime after 10 am and be picked up anytime before 5pm. A sack lunch will be provided by Camp Summit. Campers will be supervised by trained volunteers at a 2:1 camper to staff ratio. Campers with either physical and/or developmental disabilities, siblings and friends. Age requirement: 6 years and up with no upper age limit. Camp Summit will have a registered nurse on camp during the day to administer all medications and supply any needed first aid.
