Group Facility Rental
Camp Summit offers rustic country charm and a private atmosphere nestled in 460 acres of beautiful wooded surroundings. Conveniently located just northwest of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, we have hosted hundreds of non-profit organizational meetings, leadership groups, Church retreats, family reunions, educational programs, workshops and children's camps.
Rental fees are reasonable and help fund Camp Summit programs for children, youth and adults with special needs.

What dining services are available?
Camp Summit can provide "all you can eat" buffet meals for your group for an additional fee. Although we do not provide a menu choice plan, we do work with all groups to accommodate special dietary needs. Meals are typically served at 8:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. These times are flexible and may change if more than one group is at the facility. If your group would prefer their meals be served at a specific time, please make this request in advance of your stay and we will try to accommodate you.

Each cabin is heated/cooled and has its own bathroom/shower area.

Our camp can accommodate overnight groups of up to 150 guests.

All groups are required to provide their own linens.

Campfires & bonfires can be arranged through Camp Summit staff (unless a burn ban is in effect).

Sports equipment is available for an additional fee.

If your group would prefer to arrange food delivery or to bring their own food, that is also permissible. For groups who choose to provide their own meals, we do have a refrigerator, microwave, counter and sink in the lodge for your use. Meals may not be prepared in the cabins.

Camp Summit does not provide medical care. groups are responsible for their own emergency
needs and transportation. We advise groups to have someone attend with the group who is
CPR & First Aid certified. Wise l Health System hospital is located in nearby Decatur and all
emergency services are available through the Wise County 911 system. First aid kits are also
provided in all buildings and activity areas. -
A helicopter landing pad is available for use for transportation or in case of emergency.
How does a group reserve camp?
Please submit a request using the link below. You will be asked to provide your requested dates, arrival and departure times, and the number of people in your group. An agreement, including rates, and map of the campgrounds will be emailed to you. Agreements need to be signed and emailed, faxed or mailed, along with the $200 deposit to reserve your date. Your deposit can be charged to your credit card by calling the Dallas office at 972-484-8900. Agreements returned without a deposit are not valid and the date cannot be held until the deposit is received.
Payment
The balance is due within 10 days of departure date. An invoice will be sent to you reflecting the balance due. The balance due will be based on the guaranteed number of participants plus charges for additional participants beyond the guaranteed number. We will contact you seven days prior to your reservation date to modify and/or confirm your guaranteed number of participants.
Camp Restrictions
All-terrain vehicles, firearms, ammunition, fireworks and hunting are not allowed at camp. Poisonous
substances, gasoline and flammables may not be stored at camp by rental groups. No pets allowed.
Smoking is prohibited on the campgrounds. This includes all tobacco products, as well as vaping, eSig’s,
etc. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on Camp Summit property. We ask all guests to honor these
policies.
